July 2016. Winnies Pre-School, Westerham, Kent – Assistant
During July 2016, I worked for two weeks at this pre-school. My role was diverse in that it involved helping to look after and entertain the children, supporting them to learn through activities each day. Additionally, as the pre-school was transferring to new premises at the start of the new academic year, I was charged with making an inventory of the equipment.
February 2016 – January 2020. Oxfam, Bromley, Greater London – Shop Assistant and Customer Care
I volunteered at the Oxfam shop in Bromley for four hours each week; during my time there, I developed new skills including: operating the till, organising the shop floor, pricing items and helping customers with any queries and concerns. I have also trained several new staff members in this role.
September 2015 – May 2017. Ravens Wood School, Bromley, Greater London – Coaching and Mentoring in Science and Maths GCSE
I have undertaken the internationally recognised ILM course in coaching and mentoring during years 12 and 13 at my school.
