I currently have my passport and original degree, and can quickly obtain sealed transcripts and a background check.
I have a BA degree in English, was an honors graduate, and also studied at Cambridge University for one year as part of my course.
After graduating from university, I served as a US Peace Corps volunteer in Lithuania for two years. As a volunteer, I taught 9th to 11th grades as well as one college level English Literature class. Previous to serving, I participated in a 3 month intensive TEFL training in Vilnius.
For a majority of my career, I have taught Pilates and yoga in the US and abroad, in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.
While in Jakarta, I volunteered at a school for underprivileged children, helping them with their homework in various subjects (2010-2014). These children were between the ages of 5 and 12.
I love learning other languages, and while living overseas have become fluent in Russian, Lithuanian, and Indonesian. |
