• In my current employment I work for a prestigious law firm in Child Maintenance Arrears and Department for Work and Pensions debts. I have recently completed work for Her Majesties Revenue and Customs in debt and law enforcement for outstanding tax returns.
• The role involves contacting individuals who have incurred arrears and look to secure repayment via legal enforcement or payments in full.
• I am required to interpret complex legal legislation regarding legal proceedings and government guidelines to customers in an accessible format.
Creation Plc, April 2006 – November 2008
• Working for company the as Financial Collections Supervisor.
• Joined company as a collections agent but was promoted and trained to deal with customers who were in debt to clients of Creation Plc but experiencing financial hardship.
• I dealt with enquires via telephone, fax and email
• At times I trained junior staff to complete administrative duties in assessing customers’ financial circumstances.
The Dog and Partridge Hotel, May 2003 – July 2005
• I acted as the senior waiter in a restaurant and kitchen whilst studying for my GCSE’s and A Levels.
• Responsibilities included running front of house service and hospitality, training new starters in their roles serving customers in a busy, high pressured environment.
