Many stories about the school on the internet are not based on truth. Most of the stories are distorted, exaggerated and sometimes totally incorrect. Many of them are fake stories.
If there is 1 out of 10 teachers cannot have a good time at the certain school due to their personal reasons, they will write down the bad stories about the school on internet.
Probably, they could not get along with the management staffs of the schools or they could be fired by the school due to their bad performance or their improper behaviors.
Even though the school has good feedbacks from 95% of teachers, if 5% of teachers write the bad things about the school, this school will become a bad school on the internet.
So, you should not believe that kind of bad stories on internet. It is very important for you to check the school by yourself by talking with the current native English teachers at the school, who is working for the school right now if you want to know about the school.
Also, the bad stories of the school on the internet is from the schools which is big and have many teachers. Since the big schools hire many teachers, there are many types of teachers. Among them,
there are teachers who could not adjust to the school and could not get along with the school's staffs and his coworkers.
If the school is too small and can hire only 1 or 2 teachers, they have no chance to be seen on the internet. Only the school which is big and have many native English teachers can be seen on the internet.
Based on my experience, you can find the bad stories on the internet about all reputable big brand schools in Korea. Then, If you judge the school based on the internet story, you will not get a good position in Korea. The schools which is not seen on the internet is generally small independent schools. They do not hire many native English teachers.
Please talk with the current native English teacher at the school if you want to know about the specific school. That is the best way to know about the school.
